The play was originally workshopped in a fully staged production at Northwestern University in 2024 directed by Lila Marooney. Since then, it has undergone multiple revision cycles and readings, most recently presented in an industry showcase at ARTxNYC in 2025 in collaboration with director and dramaturg Lucy Harrington, and again in March 2026 at IRT Theater. We've been selected for SheNYC Summer Theater Festival 2027, and are in musical development with composer Kyu Park.
CHAINSAW TITS is a two hour body-horror dramedy with rock music that follows a girl who does, in fact, have chainsaws for tits.
A sheltered girl, granted chainsaws for tits by her mad-surgeon mother, escapes to find a surgeon to remove them, only to be thrust into stardom at a failing haunted house.
