NICOLE STREGER
Actor | Singer | Writer

Nicole is a queer actor, playwright, screenwriter, vocalist, and oil portraitist based in New York. And before you call her unfocused--shush.

She’s been funding her passion for acting with her art commissions since she was ten (nicolestregerartwork.com), and she’d argue, every medium is just another vessel to test the human condition. It’s all storytelling, Goddamnit! Jazz rhythms bleed into her dialogue, color theory informs her vocals, and rock music shapes the way she builds characters. If it's true in one medium, it’s true in all of them. So, take that.

Nicole is a recent graduate of Northwestern University where she studied acting, playwriting, and fine art, and she is a proud 2021 YoungArts Winner in Acting. She is represented by Suskin/Karshan Management and Artists & Representatives.

A classically trained vocalist, Nicole will sing just about anything, but has a particular love for rock, jazz, and blues. Nicole’s vocal influences include Aretha Franklin, Janis Joplin, Jeff Buckley, Ella Fitzgerald, Ann Wilson, Lady Gaga, to name a few.

As a writer, Nicole fights to unravel misogynistic mothers, obsessive artists, homoerotic friendships, and the delicate structures of shame and control. She is currently developing her horror-comedy play CHAINSAW TITS with director Lucy Harrington for a New York premiere in 2026, following its industry showcase with Cherubs Productions at ArtXNYC. She is completing her third full-length play, AMELIA EARHART WAS A LESBIAN, and developing the feature film AMATEUR HOUR with director Jessica Herlitz. Nicole’s short film, SHEDDING, is currently on the festival circuit, most recently selected for DIFF (Dallas International Film Festival) Shorts, an Oscar-qualifying festival.
